The Wildlife Aid Foundation has been saving British wildlife for 38 years. Open Day is the charity's biggest fundraising event of the year and a unique opportunity to see behind-the-scenes at one of the UK’s leading wildlife hospitals. You can meet our volunteers and talk to them about their experiences of looking after sick and injured wildlife. It also our chance to thank everyone that has supported us over the past year, and hopefully meet some new supporters for our valuable work.
Entrance tickets can only be purchased on the day. Admission is £4 for adults and £2 for children (under 5’s go in free). Parking is available in the field on Springfield Drive and we are just a short walk from Leatherhead Town centre & train station. The day runs from 10 am until 5pm with the last admission to the car park at 4pm.
Tickets for Hospital Tours are available to buy via our website, or on the day, on a first-come, first-served basis. Tours start at 10.10am and then at 10 minute intervals throughout the day - last tour 4.20pm. Tickets are just £3 each and under 5’s go in free.
With stalls and activities for young and old alike; enjoy tombola, arts & crafts, photography and much more. From learning about wildlife or how to make bird feeders to entering our New Kids Fancy Dress Competition – there are plenty of activities for children and adults alike! To enter the competition, dress up as your favourite British wild bird or animal. Founder Simon Cowell will be judging!
There will be plenty to eat and drink too, with our food van and bar, tea and coffee, ice creams and stalls selling cakes, biscuits, jams and preserves…you won’t go hungry!
