About BAKE FREEDOM

Your BAKE FREEDOM can be a cake bake, a coffee morning, a tea party or a bake sale, a university, school or faith group get together, workplace fun, coming together with your community. You can take part during BAKE FREEDOM week 10th to 16th September, or choose another date that works for you.

Sign up to take part at www.freedomfromtorture.org/bakefreedom and get your free BAKE FREEDOM kit including poster, event flyer, invite, bunting, cake labels, colouring in sheets, how to guide. There are also different recipes for you to try from survivors, volunteers, supporters and chefs.

BAKE FREEDOM is inspired by our Bread and Cooking groups, which offer a safe place

for survivors to share experiences, develop friendships and discover the freedom to be

themselves. When you bake bread, cakes, buns, you’re baking hope, care and comfort for someone who’s experienced the worst of humanity. Please sign up to take part today.
