About Food Festival

Young and old alike should pencil this date in their diaries; Saturday 28th July!

Not only bringing you a massive selection of local, national and international cuisines, Willow Burn Hospice’s premier Food Festival is the most delicious way to support our local charity!!

Supporting adults from across Derwentside with life-limiting conditions, Willow Burn are always looking to broaden their scope of fantastic family-friendly events – and this one happens to be delicious too! Aiming to raise £6,000 from the day, we are inviting you to join us at Derwentside College from 11am – 4pm for a day of fun and food.

Willow Burn are proud to announce live entertainment throughout the day, watch out as we reveal who will be supporting us on our ‘Elddis Stage’ as well as fairground rides and much more.

The Festival boasts dozens of traders with a vast range of sweet and savoury treats for everyone on offer; this is guaranteed to be the perfect day out for the whole family. Sample, taste and buy from more than 40 stalls and vans; this Festival is covering everyone’s palette and even caters for Vegans, vegetarians, and coeliac too.

So if you are looking to broaden your culinary horizons, indulge in something really naughty or stock up on speciality items, then Willow Burn Hospice’s Food Festival is an absolute must to attend.
