Galloway's Morecambe Bay Walk

About Galloway's Morecambe Bay Walk

The famous Galloway’s Morecambe Bay Walk returns this summer, led by the ‘legendary’ Queen’s Guide to the Sands, Cedric Robinson MBE. Join Galloway’s for an unforgettable experience as we cross the sands from Arnside to Kents Bank. Transport is also available from Central Lancashire points (to be booked in advance and times TBC).

Our walk will be taking place over 2 days; Saturday 4th August starting at 10.30am and then again on Sunday 5th August starting at 11.00am. We will be starting in Arnside and the walk is expected to take between 3 and 4 hours and both walks end at Kents Bank.

Galloway's also offers a transport service for people wanting transport from the Preston/Chorley and Morecambe area to and from the event. This needs to be booked by and information will also be included in your welcome pack.

For a £10 registration fee (£5 for under 16s) you will receive an event t-shirt, a certificate on completion and a day you'll never forget. Family tickets for £20 (2 adults and 2 children) are also available.

Galloway’s is a local sight loss charity, aiming to ensure that nobody in our local community has to face sight loss alone or without the right support. By walking with us, you'll be helping make a life changing difference to those facing sight loss.

The Galloway's Morecambe Bay Walk is a sponsored event. Although there is no minimum fundraising target, we really encourage participants to raise as much as possible so we can continue to offer life changing support to those affected by sight loss.
