About Launceston Sight Loss Awareness Day (Launceston Town Hall)

On Wednesday 27 June, members of the iSightCornwall team will be visiting Launceston to host a sight loss awareness event. Members of the Community Outreach and Low Vision teams will be on hand to answer any questions or queries you may have regarding your sight loss.

iSightCornwall Assistive Technology Officers, Dom and Rod will also be in attendance to demonstrate the latest gadgets and devices designed to aid visually impaired people.

Launceston Town Hall is disability friendly for anyone with mobility issues or additional needs. Access is on street level through automatic glass doors.


The Town Hall is adjacent to Westgate Street multi-storey car park which offers space for 128 cars and has 2 dedicated disabled parking bays. Parking charges apply from 8am until 6pm and are (at present):

1 hour – 60p

2 Hours – £1.30

3 Hours – £2.00

4 Hours – £3.00

There is a bus stop adjacent to the Car Park in Westgate Street served by the following bus routes:
