We'll be following the ancient route of the Incas, exploring the Andes and uncovering the mysteries of Machu Picchu.
Your trekking challenge begins in the Inca capital of Cusco – a fascinating city full of colonial charm, hidden deep in the Andes Mountains. There are many trails throughout Peru, but only the
original Inca Trail leads us along gushing rivers, through ancient tunnels and over high mountain passes to the Sun Gate.
The sight of the magnificent lost city of Machu Picchu appearing through the morning mist is one that will live with you forever!
Day 1: London Heathrow to Peru
Day 2: Cusco - Free Day
Day 3: Acclimatisation Trek to Inca sites (Trekking distance - 8km)
Day 4: Cusco to Wayllabamba (Trekking distance -11km)
Day 5: Wayllabamba to Pacaymayo (Trekking distance -11km)
Day 6: Pacaymayo to Wiñayhuayna (Trekking distance -16km)
Day 7: Wiñayhuayna to Machu Picchu (Trekking distance -6km)
Day 8: Cusco- Free Day and celebratory meal
Day 9: Return flight to Heathrow
Day 10: Arrive in UK
Must be over 18 years of age
Minimum Sponsorship £3000 (80% of this must be hit before 25th August 2018)
£349 Registration fee (please note this can be paid over 2 months)
£150 Treking permit (paid around February 2018)
Must make your own way to Heathrow for Departure Flight and pay for own flight back home
