If you’ve made a New Year’s Resolution to get a bit fitter or already love to take to your bicycle and hit the road, then why not sign up to take on the Michael Sobell Hospice Charity’s (MSHC) ‘On Your Bike’ 40-mile sponsored cycle challenge, taking place on Sunday 20th May, from 8.00am.
The annual event, setting off from outside the Northwood-based Hospice, will take hardy cyclists through picturesque local areas including Denham, The Chalfonts, Chesham, Bovingdon and Chipperfield with a well-deserved water stop at the Boot Tavern in Chipperfield for that all-important energy-boost!
An early bird offer of £25 is available until Friday 20th April for adults and £10 for children, aged 11-16 (must be accompanied by an adult on the day). There is also a team offer on groups of 10+ for £20 per person running until the end of February.
This event has proved to be really popular with cyclists, cycling groups and those who are up for a bit more of a pedal power challenge on a Sunday morning!
Without the help of our wonderful volunteer marshals, we would not be able to run this event, so please, if you are unable to get on your bike but can help by donating just a little of your time on the day, get in touch with the Charity fundraising team on 020 3826 2362/2367 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
To book your place, please visit www.michaelsobellhospice.co.uk or pop into any of the Charity’s retail shops in Northwood, Ruislip or Eastcote.
