About The Great British Dog Walk 2018 at Pollok Park

The Great British Dog Walk is an annual event in aid of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. We will have:

A free doggie bandana for each adult ticket purchased

Working hearing dogs at the walk who you can meet

Fun activities for all the family

Stalls with gifts and refreshments

And by simply joining us on the day, you will help us to train more adorable puppies to change the lives of deaf people.

Registration: 10am; Walks begin: 11am

Cost: Adults: £10 online, On the day £12; Children (under 16): Free

Distance: 3km (Family Route) or 8km (Scenic Route)

Terrain: The 3km walk is suitable for pushchairs and wheelchair users. The 8km walk crosses grassland and uneven terrain and therefore is not suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

Parking: Parking is £1 pay and display for 4 hours.

More: The park is Glasgow's largest park and the only Country Park within Glasgow. Its extensive woodlands and gardens provide a quiet sanctuary for both visitors and wildlife. The park is rich in rural history formerly being part of the Old Pollok Estate and ancestral home to the Maxwell Family.
